Andy Köpke

Andy Köpke, the german goalkeeper legend and current National goalkeeping coach of the German Team (coached Jens Lehmann and Oliver Kahn) is the worldwide patron and ambassador of the association Kids are our No.1.

The former world and european champion is father of 3 kids and supports since his active players carreer a list of kids development projects. Together with football legend Pele he supported in 2005 and 2006 a campaign against child soldiers in Africa.

Before Andy Köpke became an ambassador for the association he established in 2007 the GERMAN GOALKEEPER SCHOOL also as a patron to upgrade the talent and drawing system of young goalkeepers all over Germany. The German system of excellence centers and additional regional schools is a benchmark for the organisation structure of the AFRICAN GOALKEEPER SCHOOLS, a project of the Association.
